Florida is expected to start sophomore QB Tramell Jones Jr. against Oklahoma on Saturday, per CBS Sports, with an AP source confirming the switch from Aaron Philo. It will be Jones' second career start. His first was the 27-24 upset at Texas on Oct. 17. No. 25 Florida (5-3, 3-3 SEC) hosts Oklahoma (4-4, 2-3) in The Swamp at 6:45 PM CT. CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz first reported the move Thursday morning, and a person familiar with the decision confirmed it to The Associated Press. Florida has not announced a starter. Jon Sumrall declined to name one Monday, listed Jones and Philo as co-starters on the depth chart, and said he had "a plan that is already kind of in motion." Philo started Saturday's 27-8 loss to Georgia but was pulled in the second quarter after two interceptions. Jones finished 17 of 24 for 172 yards with an interception and a lost fumble, and scored Florida's only touchdown on a 2-yard run. On the season, Jones is 63 of 89 for 579 yards with four touchdowns and three interceptions. Florida will also be without starting DT Jeramiah McCloud, suspended one game for conduct detrimental to the team, ESPN reported.
